 Fairfield Medical Center seeks a dynamic Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established, progressive, employed practice providing comprehensive thoracic and cardiac care in the community to replace a surgeon leaving the community.

The practice includes one cardiothoracic surgeon, two nurse practitioners and one physician assistant. The practice is conveniently located in Lancaster on the campus of Fairfield Medical Center. This position offers the opportunity to practice with a high-respected physician who has been part of a strong, physician-led service line at Fairfield Medical Center for 10 years. They provide approximately 400 cardiac and thoracic cases annually. The service line also includes eight cardiologists, three vascular surgeons and three critical care pulmonologists. Fairfield Medical Center recently opened a new Surgical Services expansion to include a new Cardiac OR and six new Cardiac ICU rooms.

Fairfield Medical Center is pleased to announce the expansion of its outpatient campus by breaking ground on a Health & Wellness Complex next to River View Surgery Center on North Columbus Street in Lancaster. The intent is that the complex, which will be adjacent to the surgery center, will offer emergency, health and wellness, diagnostic, rehabilitative, laboratory and women’s services. The project is expected to break ground by the end of 2016 or early 2017.
